Chassisworks FAB9 direct fit, fabricated 9" housing offers
exceptional performance, reliability, and adjustability for 1979 to 2004
Mustangs and other Fox chassis vehicles. Shown above with the optional back
bracing installed. Options include: mild steel or 4130
chromoly construction, urethane bushing or spherical bearing upper arm
mounts, and the drag race ready anti-roll bar and wheelie bar mounting assembly.
Matching Currie 31 Splined Axle Kits. Also needed new
9" Third Member Kit
Uses Late Big Ford Drag Style Housing Ends (requires SET-20
or aftermarket externally 3.150" Bearing Bore, 2.50" Brake Offset
Dimensions given are for standard stock widths. Housing
widths are available 62" to a minimum of 56".
Wheel-to-wheel dimension calculated using 1/4" thick hats.
Housing only dimension is measured to outside surfaces of
housing ends.
Prices listed are for bare metal, assembled housings.
When selecting the Back bracing option, you must select the
bracing relative to the housing construction. (ex if you select the Mild
Steel Housing and desire the back bracing, you must select the mild steel
back bracing. Likewise on the Chomoly).
