Hydraulic Conversion Kit with External Slave
This comprehensive kit includes
everything to change your car over to a full hydraulic clutch conversion
on your T5 or TKO using an OE late model T5 cast aluminum bellhousing. The
light pedal feel and improved slave throw on this kit is an improvement
beyond all others on the market. The slave has a full 1 1/4" throw which
allows for superior clutch disengagement, while centering the pedal
pushrod on the hydraulic master eliminates premature wear and extends
the life of the clutch master cylinder. Wilwood master cylinder ensures
the quality you would expect. Manufacturer's warranty applies on all
cylinders. Kit includes, LF Series Master, plastic reservoir, a steel braided line of appropriate length to
connect to the slave, and the slave cylinder with bracketing and
hardware.
PLEASE NOTE: if you
have a scattershield including Lakewood or Mcleod, you cannot use this
kit. We do have slave kits however for most Quicktime bellhousings (big
block excluded). So you would have to purchase the Clutch Master Kit
separately below, then the slave for your Quicktime bellhousing. Any
other scattershield or aftermarket bellhousing would require a type
III master and the CNC
external slave brackets below. We do not offer the CNC Slave so you
would need to source the CNC slave from a
alternate source. The only thing required at that point would be the
lines and reservoir. For those with a Ford toploader, or the desire to go
with an internal slave, we have the new Tilton 6000 series adjustable
internal slaves below. They work with the type II masters below.

1967-70 uses stock
clutch rod hole for ease of installation, the 1965-66 kits requires
relocation and a hole will need to be drilled. The LF Series Hydraulic Master is a
revolutionary design for retrofitting hydraulics into the classic cars.
The common approach was to use a 3/4" Master connected to the pedal
directly. To get the proper pedal pressure and stroke the cylinder
needed to be raised higher then the stock clutch rod linkage hole.
Interference issues prevents this in many cars. Secondly, if the
cylinder was mounted through the existing clutch rod hole the pedal
pressure was excessive. The cylinder itself is resized and
optimized for this use. It's small size insures it will fit in the
majority of applications. Mechanical linkage was added which makes it
possible to use the clutch rod hole and provides mechanical advantage
thus reducing the pedal pressure required to operate the clutch. A
remote fluid reservoir is included.

The bracket systems below are for use with these CNC Inc, these cylinders.
The parts needed to complete this conversion
with the bracket systems below, are the two cylinders shown above, the clutch
master reservoir and the lines. The "Slave Only" kits are set up for the CNC
slave cylinder 305. You can click the CNC part numbers above for ordering. We do
not supply CNC cylinders.
If you have an original JMC hydraulic clutch
kit and need to replace the master cylinder, you will need the master cylinder
and the shim below to align it properly. The JMC masters were custom made from
CNC to give the proper angle to not cause side sheer and premature failure. Our
shim gives the proper angle to resolve this issue. Using our shim on 1967-70
cars will require you to modify the mounting holes to be horizontal to shim and
get the proper angle.
