Roadster Project
We are building a convertible
this year. This is the concept rendering. The
May 05 issue of Mustang Monthly has a write up on the car on page 10. They are
planning on following the build closely. Here's some of the plans at this point.
Our
plans are to inject all of the newest styling, performance and interior options,
and come out with a world-class roadster.
We will accomplish the look by using some styling cues from
our E2 Body Kit, borrowing some flavor from different Shelby's, and
using late model style ground effects. We have intentions of using the latest in
technology with Ford's 4.6 DOHC motor and a 5 speed automatic overdrive.
The suspension plans include a Heidt's Mustang II front coil over suspension,
Heidt's independent rear suspension, one off custom large diameter billet wheels, and
large 4 wheel disc brakes. The interior will be adorned in dark tan Peanut
Butter leather interior with cream inserts and custom door panels. The paint
scheme will be a classic Candy Apple Red, with some very subtle airbrush
accenting. Other plans include a chopped windshield, late model dash, custom
billet grills, late model light bar, suicide doors, and an industry sponsored
high-end stereo system with an in-dash video monitor.
