Ford released an all new 2010 Mustang with a smooth, shapelier and more curvaceous body style while still keeping it retro. Ford has also given the new Mustang more power and improved handling. Clearly Ford has succeeded again in leading the way in the American muscle car world. Our concept takes a leap forward and blends modern graphics with traditional muscle car styling. The blackout front and rear gained influence from European cars. The sides were influenced from our founders deep roots in the hot rod culture. The car makes use of reversed or negative tribal flames through an opposing color, in this case candy red. The Rebellion is also significant in that it builds on the understated look. We used those styling ques in the front and rear to keep with the times, yet the sides are a clear detachment from the same old understated look and feel. We've also integrated carbon fiber in both the interior, exterior and engine compartment to give it a modern, race feel. The Rebellion Mustang put down some impressive numbers on the dyno producing 447hp and 418tq at the rear wheels with 13lbs of boost. We used a prototype Paxton High Output Novi 2200 Self Lubricating Supercharger with an Air to Water cooler not traditionally offer together as a kit. We integrated 39# injectors and the Diablo Preditor was professionally tuned by NRP. So it has good power to go with the flashy exterior design. The power was further enhanced by adding a BBK twin 62mm throttle body, Granatelli Pro Series Xtreme Coil Packs and Granatelli fuel rails. Holding the engine down is Prothane Billet Motor Mounts. The exhaust is a complete JBA 3" Stainless Steel Evol system which included JBA shorty headers and their Mid H-Pipe with high flow cats, . The engine is dressed in APR Carbon Fiber engine covers and valve covers are powder coated silver metalic. Scott Drake billet caps and Moroso aluminum overflow tanks. The 2010 Street Scene front bumper has been slightly modified. The side skirts are from the 2005-09 Street Scene kit. The rear splitter is also from the new 2010 Mustang Street Scene Body Kit. We're also running a Roush rear spoiler. The APR carbon fiber mirrors are originally for 2005-2009 Mustangs and require the Ford original internals from that year group and then only some minor drilling to line up. The Venom hood is new for the 2010 manufactured by Trufiber. On the suspension, we used Eibach Pro Series Coil Springs in the front and rear, Eibach anti-roll kit front/rear, Tokico Dspec Shocks/Struts, Prothane Control Arm Bushings and the Shelby Performance Rear Race Link. This new system from Shelby includes adjustable chromeoly trailing arms, an adjustable third link, a third link bracket and a pan hard rod and bracket. We used the Granatelli Strut Brace as well. The car is halted by massive Stainless Steel Brakes Force 10 Extreme 8 Piston Calipers with huge 14" Big Bite Rotors. The rears are matched with the SSBC Force 10 Sport R1 calipers w/13" Big Bite rotors. The interior has been touched up with Lloyd's lush GT floor mats,a triple pillar gauge pod set with Auto Meter Phantom gauges and carbon fiber dash trim kit. There are also hints of billet dress up items inside, again from Scott Drake. We finished off the look with color matched American Racing Rogue wheels with Pirelli PZero Nero tires. Driving the car is a dream with a ton of power in reserve, nimble steering response, assured corners with little to no roll. All of these performance enhancements we attained will still retaining general ride comfort. We chose an automatic transmission on the car for comfortable city driving and the improved mileage. The launches are incredible with a slight roll of the throttle, you can hit 100mph within 5-6 sec. The driving comfort is such that you can pretty much take what comes along beside you with a cup of coffee in your hand! "We're definitely not afraid to try different things with these cars."We're true to what simply looks good." "We hope you enjoy our efforts to give you something different then the same old understated theme." Videos
