The Gambler 514 was created by the Super-Team of Jeff Georges, Phil Brewer, Jr., Jimmy Kerlin, Bobby Mikus,
Gregg Bond, Bill Cate, Kevin Byrd, Greg Coleman, Carl Richmond, Bryan Fuller,
Revo and Zack Merril joined Team Captain Chip Foose at the world famous SEMA
Show in Las Vegas. SEMA is the Superbowl of auto parts and accessories, one of
the world's largest conventions, and there at the center of it all was Overhaulin', redoing a 1970 Mustang for a local Vegas man.
The mark's name: Barry. Barry's son Brent was Overhaulin's Insider, spinning
yarns and making with the lies. The whopper that started it all had Brent losing
his dad’s much-loved Mustang by way of a gambling debt. As the team worked on
the car in the spotlight of The SEMA Show, Barry met a few of our Overhaulin'
Players, posing as shady characters who wanted to strike a deal regarding
Barry's Mustang and Brent's debt. As the deal was finally struck, the car was
completed. Barry later arrived at SEMA for the shock of his life.

There are actually three sets of rims like this in the world. Chip
has a set on his black and white 69 Camaro which can be seen at the Unique
Performance web site, then this set was made at SEMA for the car. Originally
the car had a set of BFG Full race slicks that had large pony heads cut into
the tread, about ten heads would go around the diameter of one tire so when
you went through water as you roll away there would be pony heads on the
ground. After SEMA, I didn't see these tires for awhile, and then out of the
blue one day I spoke with Chip Foose about an upcoming show in Phoenix. I
mentioned how we would like to have the pony tires. He
told me he was sorry but the tires would not be ready in time, "not ready" I
said "They were already made, how could they not be ready I watched them get
made? Foose replied "Oh I decided to make a second set of rims so you
wouldn't have to switch out the rubber at shows all the time." It goes
without saying I was floored. I was already a fan of Chips' now I'm a
disciple, I can't say enough about Chip Foose.
