1971 Mustang Coupe
I bought this car 5 years ago as an original survivor (kinda)
had 283,000 miles and still ran strong. It had front end damage, was
painted with house paint, and had been used a dog house. Now it has 17”
Eagles, 347 Stroker, Ford Racing roller cam/lifters, MSD, Milodon 8 qrt
pan, Heddman Hedders, TCI converter, Flowmaster, etc etc etc.
conservative 385 hp. Big thanks to my lovely wife Janet, Double B Engine
Service, and Roy Moore. I DID MOST OF THE WORK. Next is 1972 Fastback
for Janet. 351C, FMX, 9” etc etc etc.
We did a 3 year ground up resto-mod restoration.
Converted it from a 6 cyl 3 speed to a V8 tremec 5 speed. It has the shock
towers removed and a Heidt Mustang II fron end with power rack and pinion,
an 8" rearend with 4 wheel disc brakes. It has custom body work done with
molded in headlight and tailight extensions and the addition of a shaker
hood and wing with custom paint. It also has all new interior with custom
gauges from JME Enterprise. And last but not least custom made wheels from
Boze Alloy wheels with Hancook tires.
This 1969 fastback underwent a 2 year restoration and was finished in the
Fall of 2009. It features a slightly modified 351 and a custom mix Reaper
Green Paint Job. It rolls on BFG's and American Racing Torq Thrust
AluminumWheels. Since completion, this Mustang has been a regular show
winner and boasting 2 Goodguys picks. It was twice chosen as one of 75
awesome Mustangs to attend the Ford Mustang Stampede as part of the EAA Air
Venture in Osh Kosh, WI. It was also featured in the July 2010 Mustang
Enthusiast Magazine Article titled "Fear The Reaper"
